Universum® Bremen
How do you convey a feeling?
Universum® Bremen didn't want to explain love – it wanted to make it tangible. The foundation came from Paris as a touring exhibition. For Bremen, the hands-on character was strengthened even further. ping contributed two interactive exhibits: one that physically connects two people. One that shows what love sets off in the body.
The result is two wooden constructions with built-in media technology – developed, built and programmed at ping.
Result: The exhibits have run without a hitch since opening in June 2025 – through at least August 2026. Delivered on budget.
What the exhibit shows
A touch that electrifies.
A cable runs over a wooden arch with a neon sign, a metal handle at each end, and too much distance between them for one person. To light up the “Together”, you need someone at your side: only the touch of hands closes the circuit, and only then does the light come on.
“Love is blind” – is that really true? The “Love Human” explains what love does to our body. A press of the buttons at the brain, eye, cheek, stomach or heart of a wooden silhouette, and a speaker explains what happens there when we fall in love.
How the exhibits came about
From a strong idea to a great result.
The concept for the exhibits came from Universum® – clear in content, fixed in design. Our work began where a brief had to become a working object. We engineered the technology, built and tested the electronics, programmed the controls and media players. A carpenter handled the woodwork to our specifications. What was agreed was delivered – on budget, with no course corrections. And it runs: flawlessly, from day one. Thought through from the ground up and solidly built.
„You switch it on and it just works!“

When an idea has to become an object
Let's turn it into an exhibit.
You have a concept – we make it work. Engineering, prototyping, construction and programming from a single source. On time, on budget, reliable from day one.
